Church Pimps Must Stop

Today Christians are tired of the pimp mentality in the church. We've gotten away from the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. It tells us, "go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in hte Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age"(Matthew 28:19-20KJV).

The Great Commision rests on the authority of Jesus Christ. His Gospel needs to be taught to all. Making disciples involves three steps: going, baptizing, and teaching. The actual first call for World evangelism can be seen in Genesis 12:1-3. The Lord said to Abram:"Get out of your country, from your family, and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed"(NKJV).

We all know what those two Scriptures means. Many times in life we're at a standstill. What is the message of Jesus Christ? How does pimping play into that? Why are so many Ministers of the Gospel are being referred to as a pimp? We all know that this type fo behavior has no place in the church. Yet, it has creep into it.

We must pray for this mentality to be removed from the church. The Church should be a place of of worship. We shoud magnify and Glorify God at all times. We desperate need to minister to those who are hurting. It's about souls being saved. The world should see the church as being different form the norm. But instead we pimp the saints. We are not following Jesus' message about soul's being saved and delivered. The message should poin the listeners to the Cross.

It's time for the church to be restored and the pimping spirit must leave the church. It has no place in Jesus Christ's church. Annie Eskridge, author of Sin Abides..http://www.ruthplace.com. Be Blessed

Increase Your Faith

Today I'm going to share about, how we can increase our faith. Many ask this question from day to day. Apostle Paul wrote,"we are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of everyone of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you ensure"(2 Thessalonians 1:3,4NKJV).
The faithfulness of the Thessalonians church during persecution gave Apostle Paul reason to praise God. Satan persecutes Christians in order to discourage and defeat them. Although these Christians had experienced persecution they still remain faithful. As a result their faith continue to grow in Christ exceedingly. This was in agreement with the apostle's prayer found in 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13,4:9-11.
Here are six things that will help you to increase your faith:(1) Read the Bible daily(2) Exercist your faith (3) Embrace trials (4) Examine the testimonies of others (5) Pray and communicate daily with Him and (6) Practice Obedience to the Word of God. Just remember that faith doesn't increase over night it take time and dedication to the Word of God. If you lack anything ask the Lord to help you and He will.
