Today Christians are tired of the pimp mentality in the church. We've gotten away from the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. It tells us, "go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in hte Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age"(Matthew 28:19-20KJV).
The Great Commision rests on the authority of Jesus Christ. His Gospel needs to be taught to all. Making disciples involves three steps: going, baptizing, and teaching. The actual first call for World evangelism can be seen in Genesis 12:1-3. The Lord said to Abram:"Get out of your country, from your family, and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed"(NKJV).
We all know what those two Scriptures means. Many times in life we're at a standstill. What is the message of Jesus Christ? How does pimping play into that? Why are so many Ministers of the Gospel are being referred to as a pimp? We all know that this type fo behavior has no place in the church. Yet, it has creep into it.
We must pray for this mentality to be removed from the church. The Church should be a place of of worship. We shoud magnify and Glorify God at all times. We desperate need to minister to those who are hurting. It's about souls being saved. The world should see the church as being different form the norm. But instead we pimp the saints. We are not following Jesus' message about soul's being saved and delivered. The message should poin the listeners to the Cross.
It's time for the church to be restored and the pimping spirit must leave the church. It has no place in Jesus Christ's church. Annie Eskridge, author of Sin Abides..http://www.ruthplace.com. Be Blessed

Increase Your Faith
Today I'm going to share about, how we can increase our faith. Many ask this question from day to day. Apostle Paul wrote,"we are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of everyone of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you ensure"(2 Thessalonians 1:3,4NKJV).
The faithfulness of the Thessalonians church during persecution gave Apostle Paul reason to praise God. Satan persecutes Christians in order to discourage and defeat them. Although these Christians had experienced persecution they still remain faithful. As a result their faith continue to grow in Christ exceedingly. This was in agreement with the apostle's prayer found in 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13,4:9-11.
Here are six things that will help you to increase your faith:(1) Read the Bible daily(2) Exercist your faith (3) Embrace trials (4) Examine the testimonies of others (5) Pray and communicate daily with Him and (6) Practice Obedience to the Word of God. Just remember that faith doesn't increase over night it take time and dedication to the Word of God. If you lack anything ask the Lord to help you and He will. Look Listen Literary Agent, Traditional Publishers!
Look!! Look! I need your help! I need a publisher or literary agent that is willing to take a chance. Who's Jack and Where's Jack? The novel is an eye opener full of suspense. The novel needs a home. Is there someone who's willing to give me a chance with this project? It will keep you laughing from start to finish. No one will know until they take the roller coaster journey with the characters. Even the names of these characters are something to think about. Eskridge has really created some characters that are off of the charts. So, will you consider helping a born again Christian grandmother? Email areskridge@sbcglobal.net. My blog:wwwruthdenniseskridge.blogspot.com. Author of Sin Abides, Annie Dennis Eskridge.

Prayer Warrior
We need to pray for the entire world. Father, we thank You for Jesus and His shed blood. We thank You that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us. In Obedience to Your Word, we intercede for all men, women, boys and girls throughout South America, North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia and all the earth. According to 1 Timothy 2:1. Thank you for the laborer that You have sent forth to share Jesus with them. We bind the powers of darkness over the minds of any who have an opportunity to hear the Word of God this day, in the name of Jesus.
We pray for all leaders of our nation, the entire world, all who are in authority and their families according to 1 Timothy 2:2. We pray especially for Our President and vice- President, governors, mayors, senators, congress, council, and assembly members, the Supreme Court Justices and those in armed forces. Also chief of police, judges, fire chiefs, firefighters, police officers, schools and leaders of school boards, school principals and school teachers. We pray for them to have Godly wisdom in the decisions that they shall make because of your people, so that we may live a quiet and peaceable life with all godliness and honesty.
We pray for the entire Body of Christ and its leaders and their families, that they will know your voice and a stranger they will not follow. Father, we pray for all to have Godly wisdom. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem as stated in Psalm 122:6. Let every sould be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God as stated in Romans 13:1., In the name of Jesus. Father we thank for hearing and answering our prayer ,In the Name of Jesus......Annie Dennis Eskridge, author of Sin Abides. www.ruthplace.com

Who Am I ?
Today, we hear Christians identifying with the world. They are having an identity crisis or a mid-life crisis. We should not be surprised. Christians should be studying their Bible and learn what the Bible says about them. Instead they are caught up with this great vase universe. They allow it to set the standard for them instead of the Word of God.
The scientific community sees the earth as a planet, and humans are just a life form. But, we as Christians see in Psalm 139, it presents man as seriously thinking about himself and his relationship with His Creator. The Creator of this universe is the True and Living God, who is all -knowing, ever-present, and all powerful.
God created every part of our bodies. He knows us intimately. God has ordained every day of our lives. We are part of God's divine plan. Believers of the True and Living God knows that there's no luck instead,we
have been"fearfully and wonderfully made"(Psalm 139:14).
We as believers of Jesus Christ should read psalm 139. It rejoices in knowing that we are creations of an omniscient(all-knowing), omnipresent(all-present or present everywhere), and omnipotent (all knowing)God, and nothing can be hidden from Him.
When you think about it , the entire world was creted by Our Great Creator. Christians know who created them. Just let that sink in! As an unbeliever, The Great Creator knows you too. So, I'm pleading with those who are not sure. This Christmas will you attend church with a friend, a family member or just get up and go to someone's Church? If you try it you might like it. Then, you will know who you are without any dobut. Be Blessed this Christmas Season. Thought for Today -Restoration
Psalm 105:19 "Until the time that his word came; the word of the Lord tried him"(KJV). Then another translation siad, "the Word of the Lord tested him"(NKJV).
We can look at the life of Joseph, God used him greatly. He tested hims first. Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brethren; and they hate him yet the more(Gensis 37:50 Joseph "dreamed yet another dreamed, and told it to his brethren and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me"(Gen 37:9).
As a teenager Joseph prophesised through the Spirit. He told his father and his brethren about his dreams. His father rebuked him. Also that one day his brothers and father would bow down to him. He question Joseph about the dream. We know how the life of Joseph went. He endured much hardship. Let's take a short journey:
(1)He was sold into slavery by his brothers due to jealously under Sesostris lll in the Middle Kingdom during the Twelfth Dynasty 1878-1843B.C. He arose to the position of Grand Vizier or Prime Minister to the Pharaoh(probably Sesostris ll and Sesostris lll).
(2) He was reconciled to his brothers. Forgiveness is shown here. Would we be able to forgive like Joseph? If not, then we need to understand what the Word of God says about forgiveness.
(3) He invited his entire family to move to Egypt to escape great famine. Agape love is at work in this situation.
(4) Preserved with a shield of protection. The Lord was with him throughout the entire time.
(5) Joseph received a double portion from his father (Genesis 48:8-22).
We can see how he went from slavery to receving a double portion. We have suffered hardships from just being a Christian. We too have shared many of the same experiences as Joseph. We can see deceit, hatred, betrayal, jealousy and disloyal. The key to Joseph's whole life can be expressed in the words the Lord was with him, ahd the Lord made his way prosper in his hands. What the devil meant for evil God got the glory out of it.
When faced trials and temptations we must keep the faith. I began to look over my life and I'm able to identify with Joseph. This is a powerful story found in Genesis of the Holy Bible. In closing look at the spiritual side of the coin. I can see agape love in action then, we see total forgiveness in action. The more I think about the story I can see similar families today. It is my prayer that you would be like Joseph. It's through God's grace and mercy that family can be restored.

Thought for Today-Share Jesus
As we enjoy this Christmas SEASON, please keep Jesus Christ as the center focus point. Today, I will be sharing Christmas with people that are confined to a Nursing Home. This is my time to show love to those who are not able to move around. Although I do it all year, but my biggest joy is sharing love with another person.I look for any chance that I can share what God has blessed me with. Please find someone that you can share an act of love with. I have purpose in my heart to visit the sick and those who are inprison. Thanks be to God I am able to do that.
The Greatest Gift was given to us when Jesus died on the Cross for our sins. Now, we can show HIM how we appreciate what He has done for us. Today's society believe that having million of dollars in the bank means FULFILLMENT. But that is not right my friend. Living a fulfilled life is being in the Family of God. Plainly speaking, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then you are not living a fulfilled life. We only have a few days left in this year, so if you are not a Christian, will you consider becoming one?
I was led to share from my heart. May you and your family be blessed with all spiritual blessings for this Christmas. If you are reading this blog, please share Jesus with someone. If only one person would accept Jesus, then this thought for today will not be in vain. Thanks to the many who have email me through the years. I 've enjoyed reading them all. Next week I will share some information about some books that I have read. It's not about me, it's about bringing Glory to God. God Bless You! Annie Dennis Eskridge, Author of Sin Abides.
